Kim Victoria Cattrall (born August 21 1956) is a British-Canadian actress best known for her role as Samantha Jones in the HBO series Sex and the City for the role she won five Emmy Award nominations and four Golden Globe Award nominations winning the 2002 Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actress. Her character was the same in the two films Sex and the City 2008 and Sex and the City 2 (2010). She is also known for her roles as a leading actress in the films of the 1980s Police Academy Big Trouble in Little China Mannequin and Porky's. Kim Cattrall's performance in the HBO television sitcom Sex & the City is her most memorable role. The well-known actress' portrayal of the role of Samantha Jones has been a significant moment in her professional career.
